Studio REN is a New Zealand–based architectural studio delivering clear, well-coordinated design solutions across residential, commercial, and public building projects.
The studio is led by a New Zealand Registered Architect with over ten years of professional experience across residential, commercial, and technically complex projects, including education and aquatic facilities delivered within established architectural practices.
Our approach is practical and client-focused. We take time to understand priorities, constraints, and budget, and translate ideas into buildable, well-resolved designs that stand the test of time.
We work closely with trusted consultants and builders to ensure each project is delivered with care, technical rigour, and long-term value in mind.
About The Founder
Studio REN is led by Sara Nazem, a New Zealand–registered architect with over 10 years of professional experience and a genuine passion for creating meaningful, liveable spaces.
Having worked across a broad range of projects - from home renovations and new builds to complex public buildings - Sara brings a calm, thoughtful approach to every design. She believes good architecture should feel intuitive, functional, and deeply connected to the people who use it.
As both an architect and a mother, Sara understands the importance of spaces that truly work for real life. She founded Studio REN to offer a more personal, considered design experience - one where clients feel heard, supported, and confident at every stage of the journey.
